Born in 1982, Dan Nimmer plays with the spirit, the passion and the soul of someone who has been on the planet much longer. Dan has a prodigious technique and an innate sense of swing that often recalls that of his own heroes, specifically Oscar Peterson, Erroll Garner and Art Tatum. Since 2005, Dan is a member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and the Wynton Marsalis Quintet. This week, he brings his own trio to Marians for the third time!
