Cyrus Chestnut worked as a sideman with some of the leading players in the music including Wynton Marsalis, Freddie Hubbard, Branford Marsalis, Chick Corea, Dizzy Gillespie, Betty Carter, Freddy Cole, Bette Midler, Jimmy Scott and Isaac Hayes.
